I’m not sure if you have heard of a charity called The Willow Foundation? They are a great charity who offer special days for seriously ill people up to the age of 40. They obviously wouldn’t be able to help with getting you to the US but they can grant you a special day in the UK. I was lucky enough to benefit from a special day last year when I was going through Chemotherapy and found it really great to have something to look forward to and they really do arrange EVERYTHING for you so you don’t have to worry about a thing. I went to Edinburgh for the weekend but you can do anything really. Any way its just a thought for a day or two away from the stress. their web link is…. http://www.willowfoundation.org.uk/Home
