Your story has touched me deeply and I wish you every success with your treatment. I have come across your story while on a similar researching mission as Pete seems to have gone on, as my mommy was diagnosed with the same type of brain tumour about 6 months ago. Hi Hannah, My name is Thelma Huse. My daughter Kate remembers you from The Four seasons. She told me about your illness and as you are the same age as my lovely daughter ,I felt that I really wanted to help raise some funds to help your cause. I decided to have a coffee morning and raffle.I baked day and night for weeks. I had Mince pies and sausage rolls coming out of my ears!Family and friends donated prizes. I would like to say thank you to the ladies from St Patricks School Farnborough who gave generously at the coffee morning. Thank you to Wendy Mint for selling my baking at All Hallows School and for the generosity of the teaching staff. I just came across your story on twitter and don’t really know much about you or what you are going through but your courageous and beautiful soul really does shine through. I know it must be much tougher than we all realise but please know that miracles and magic happen far more than people know. This journey may be the hardest you face but whatever happens you are loved and safe and you have thousands of people cheering you on and sending you love and strength. I have been through this journey with a couple of very dear friends over the past two years, always trust your instincts and do what is right for you.

Hannah, I have epilepsy left from viral encephalitis of the brain. After brain surgery I still have at least 1 seizure a day. 2 years on I have managed to build a good life and just given birth to my first baby, Harry. I heard your story on 96.4 eagle and felt like I needed to do something, so went round our team at work and raised some money. Thinking of you, look after yourself.
Your testimonies are amazing, listening to your video clips moved me so deeply. It actually reminded me of something i read recently:
Love is as powerful as death;
passion is as strong as death itself.
It bursts into flame
and burns like a raging fire.
Water cannot put it out;
no flood can drown it.
Your love for one another reminded me of this. This is from song of songs chapter 8 verse 6-7. It is about the love that Jesus has for each of us, a love which is life giving. I dont know if you have met Jesus, i would recommend finding out about him if you havent! He wants us to live life to the full with all the treasures that this world has to offer aaand he has conquered death by his resurrection from the dead so that if you believe in him he promises that you no longer need to fear death because you will have eternal life with him. Sso we can live this life in peace and not fear, even though things are still not promised to be easy, it makes life worth living!
You will be in my prayers and I believe you can be healed! Never loose hope.
We were almost in the same situation with my borther last year who has bone cancer but we appealed against the NHS decision not to send him abroad for treatment and they changed their minds.
I am keeping eveyrthing crossed that you reach your target!

We wish you well Hannah! We stayed at The Europe in 2010 & spent a wonderful relaxing day in the spa & the pool, etc. & we have lovely memories of that visit. I had a Brain tumor in 1992, and was in hospital for 2 1/2 months. I had 3 major operations, Bacterial meningitis , 12 lumbar punctures…….But i survived!!!! Laughter , sense of humour and positivity got me through!! Visualize yourself healthy and try not to dwell on the negatives!!! You can do this Gal!!! YAY!!!
Also, i have an amazing support group called “Hammer (Brain tumors) Out”, they have helped me tremendously! They are worth contacting!!

Hi Hannah, My name is Thelma Huse. My daughter Kate remembers you from The Four seasons. She told me about your illness and as you are the same age as my lovely daughter ,I felt that I really wanted to help raise some funds to help your cause. I decided to have a coffee morning and raffle.I baked day and night for weeks. I had Mince pies and sausage rolls coming out of my ears!Family and friends donated prizes. I would like to say thank you to the ladies from St Patricks School Farnborough who gave generously at the coffee morning. Thank you to Wendy Mint for selling my baking at All Hallows School and for the generosity of the teaching staff. Also a great big thank you to my Partner Tony Mist who took my baking to work at Aldershot Police Station.The Admin staff and Officers gave generously. I am sorry for the delay in passing on the £200 that I managed to raise but my lovely Tony had a heart attack at Christmas and needed a triple by pass. I just came across your story on twitter and don’t really know much about you or what you are going through but your courageous and beautiful soul really does shine through. Your testimonies are amazing, listening to your video clips moved me so deeply. It actually reminded me of something i read recently:
Love is as powerful as death;
passion is as strong as death itself.
It bursts into flame
and burns like a raging fire.
Water cannot put it out;
no flood can drown it.
Your love for one another reminded me of this. This is from song of songs chapter 8 verse 6-7. It is about the love that Jesus has for each of us, a love which is life giving. I dont know if you have met Jesus, i would recommend finding out about him if you havent! He wants us to live life to the full with all the treasures that this world has to offer aaand he has conquered death by his resurrection from the dead so that if you believe in him he promises that you no longer need to fear death because you will have eternal life with him. Sso we can live this life in peace and not fear, even though things are still not promised to be easy, it makes life worth living!
You will be in my prayers and I believe you can be healed! Never loose hope.

When I heard your story I wanted to go and win the lotto to help you pay for your treatment, but soon realised that wouldn’t work. I am so pleased that the Eagle have set up this fundraiser, as it means that all of us can try to do a little bit to help. I wish you all the luck in the world.
I was on my way to Dorking Halls this morning, where I am on stage in a show called Safe Drive Stay Alive, in memory of my daughter who was killed in a car accident at the age of nearly 18, 7 years ago. We’re hoping to educate young people to drive safely. When I heard your appeal on 96.4 Eagle, it made me very sad that you’re having to suffer the trauma of a brain tumour, which a very good friend of ours had a couple of years ago and whom we nursed, so I know the pain involved in the horrible treatment you’ve undergone/undergoing, the fear and anxiety you’re feeling and my heart goes out to you all. I had a Brain tumor in 1992, and was in hospital for 2 1/2 months. I had 3 major operations, Bacterial meningitis , 12 lumbar punctures…….But i survived!!!! Laughter , sense of humour and positivity got me through!! Visualize yourself healthy and try not to dwell on the negatives!!! You can do this Gal!!! YAY!!!
Also, i have an amazing support group called “Hammer (Brain tumors) Out”, they have helped me tremendously! They are worth contacting!!
